A true 21st Century film festival that gave its first steps back in 2000 and that has become a stage for the alternative and independent movie industry throughout these years. The LPA Film Festival, whose main prize is a scale-model of Martín Chirino's Lady Harimaguada sculpture that can be seen in the Seaside Avenue, gathers hundreds of spectators in the Monopol Multiplex to enjoy the contest projections and theme series, all displayed in non-dubbed original version. Besides, La Noche Más Freak (The Freakest Night) rises as a unique social event in the city, a night dedicated to 'nlp"-rated Horror movies, Sci-Fi and B-Series.
